Curtis Hall at the Curtis Arboretum
Curtis Hall, built in 1903, was intended as a Music Hall for the Curtis Publishing family. The arboretum estate, having been donated to Cheltenham Township in the 1970’s, was ready for a revitalization on a major scale. Mural artist, Hugh Lock, painted the magical landscape mural throughout the ballroom bringing the beauty of the surrounding gardens inside. A classical architectural style was the main focus for the renovation of the bride’s and groom’s rooms, the make up room and public bathrooms.
